The Paral·lel Festival takes place in a beautiful location about 130 km north of Barcelona. The festival is celebrated in the middle of the nature, right in the mountains of the Cadi-Moixeró natural park, belonging to the catalan Prepyrenees, just 1.5 hours drive from Barcelona. Take the C-16 Highway (Autopista de Montserrat) in direction to Pyrenees.

There are several alternatives to reach the festival premises as detailed below.

We encourage you to leave the car at home and take advantage of one of our shuttle buses from Barcelona, so that the environmental impact is minimal. Shuttle buses will depart from Barcelona (Arc de Triomf) on Friday afternoon to the festival, in a journey that should take just below 2 hours.

Please note that tickets need to be purchased in advanced and that only return tickets are available. We recommend to be at the bus stop at least 15 minutes before departure.

The shuttle bus will departure from the following location in Barcelona city centre:

Passeig de Lluís Companys

In front of Arc de Triomf, at the corner with Av. Vilanova:

The best option to get to the festival is the shuttle bus from Barcelona, but if you prefer to come by car, we encourage you to share a vehicle. If you are looking for a seat or have seats available in your car, you can take advantage of our facebook event to find travel companions.

The festival is located in the Prepyrenees, just above 1.5 hours drive from Barcelona. From Barcelona take the C-16 Highway (Autopista de Montserrat) in direction to Pyrenees.

For the current edition we are implementing a green tax for every vehicle accessing the Paral·lel parking area. We want to contribute to the preservation of the natural environment where the festival takes place, so we ask for a 5€ fee that will be donated to the ADF Berguedà. The ADF Berguedà will use this funds to conduct forestry and fire prevention work to minimize our environmental footprint.

Please note that the land in the festival premises can be uneven and it is your own responsibility to access it with your own suitable vehicle.

If you can't travel by car and our shuttle bus schedule does not fit yours, you may also consider using public transport to travel to the festival. There is a regular bus line operating between Barcelona and Guardiola de Berguedà.

This line is operated by Alsa, and you can find all the timetables and price tickets here:
