Paral·lel Plus+ is our offer of professional workshops and creative sessions related to electronic music taking place during the festival. In parallel to the performances we will invite professionals to talk about their projects at the festival premises.
Our aim is to support collaboration and networking between professionals within the sector, as well as to promote new devices and equipment to people interested in producing electronic music.
Workshop 1

EXPLORE THE ART OF SONIC ATMOSPHERES | Workshop by Befaco
Join us for a participatory talk and workshop dedicated to crafting ambient soundscapes through modular synthesis. In this immersive session, we'll delve into techniques for generating rich textures, drones, and spatial environments using modular systems—focusing on sound design, noise, texture, and spatial depth.

Each artist will share their personal tools, patching methods, and creative processes—offering a rare glimpse into the diversity of ambient modular practice.

Special Finale: Collective Megadrone Jam

Workshop 2
Sunday 27th July - 11:00 h (2 hours)
“MUTANT SOUNDS - Voices, Textures and Rhythms in Mutation” by Arturia and Zentralmedia | Workshop by Samuel Escudero
Get ready to immerse yourself in an interactive sound experience where the audience co-creates, in real time, synthetic textures, analog rhythms and processed voices through collective and creative dynamics.
We will work with the Arturia MiniFreak Vocoder synthesizer and the DrumBrute Impact drum machine as main tools, organizing the participants in three teams:

Mutant Texture: sound design and effects.

Instinctive Beat: rhythmic pattern creation.

Voice of the Future: vocal exploration through vocoder.
Each group will be challenged and propose how their part should sound, and the trainer will interpret those decisions live.
During the workshop, active participation will be invited through quick turns: knob turns, preset changes, improvised phrases on the mic and sequence manipulation. Collective energy will be key.
We will close with a joint mini jam, in which the designed textures, beats and voices will be integrated.
No previous experience is necessary. This workshop is not a technical class, but a playful, collaborative space open to all levels.

Samuel Escudero is a cultural manager, multidisciplinary artist and technical-artistic director with more than fifteen years of experience in the creation of scenic projects that move in the tangent between art, technology and critical thinking.
