Paral·lel is a festival born from friendship and a deep love for music, with the desire to share it in an honest, thoughtful and different way.
Since 2016, we have been shaping an intimate gathering in the heart of nature — a daytime event with limited capacity, where the programme is curated with care and sensitivity, inviting people to truly listen, feel and connect.
Here, time slows down, the surroundings become part of the experience, and every detail is designed with intention. Paral·lel preserves its essence as a small festival, faithful to its values, where music, people and landscape meet in an authentic way.

The beginnings

From the very start, we knew we wanted to go against the grain. Programming during the day instead of at night. Choosing limited capacity rather than “the more, the better”. Moving away from urban environments and seeking a connection with nature, even knowing that this would involve huge logistical challenges. And above all, giving space to a less commercial, more underground electronic music scene, with artists that truly moved us, even if they weren’t the obvious choice.

The evolution: growing without losing our essence

From that first edition, we understood that the feeling of complicity and family was our true heritage. And ever since, our only goal has been to protect it.
From the very beginning, we were clear that we didn’t want to grow fast or at any cost, but to build a solid, coherent festival, faithful to its identity. That’s why our growth has been gradual and organic, always guided by the audience’s response and by our ability to maintain the quality of the experience. Each edition has meant a small step forward, adjusting capacity only when we were certain we could offer better infrastructure, a more carefully curated programme and greater comfort, without ever losing the essence that defines Paral·lel.

Today, the festival is bigger than it was back then, but the feeling remains the same: intimate, close and personal. We don’t see numbers as a goal, but as the natural result of doing things with coherence and patience. We continue to believe in sustainable growth, where what matters most is not how many we are, but how we experience the festival and the bond that is created between music, nature and community. Because growing, for us, has never meant being bigger, but being able to do things better, for everyone

Paral·lel is, and will always be, a place where music, people and landscape truly come together.
