You are entering into a commercial transaction with PARALLEL EVENTS, S.L. (hereinafter, THE ORGANIZER), with Tax ID (CIF) B-67099465, having its registered office at Carrer Aurora, 11 Bis, 2nd Floor, 3rd Door, Barcelona 08001 (Spain).
You may contact our entity at hola@parallelfestival.com.
In compliance with Article 10 of the Spanish Law on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (Law 34/2002), we inform you that THE ORGANIZER is a limited liability company whose domain has been registered with the Barcelona Mercantile Registry, Volume 46144, Page 99, Sheet number B-510894.
Ticket sales are deemed to take place at our registered office, and the purchase of a ticket implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions at the time of purchase.
The following terms and conditions of sale are intended to establish the terms and explain the details of the ticket purchase transaction carried out by users who acquire tickets through this channel, as well as the rights and obligations inherent to the ticket(s) purchased.
1. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
THE ORGANIZER offers any interested person the possibility of purchasing tickets online to attend the various events it organizes. Internet users who access THE ORGANIZER’S website, and specifically this ticket sales section, voluntarily accept and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the purchase contract, to which they are bound, as set out below.
The resale of any ticket without the prior express authorization of THE ORGANIZER is prohibited. Such authorization will always be denied if the ticket is resold at a price higher than the original official price (indicated on the front of the ticket) or if the resale is linked to the joint purchase of any other product or service. Unauthorized resale of any ticket voids all rights associated with it, including the right to attend the concert or event in question, without any refund of the amount paid.
THE ORGANIZER does not guarantee the authenticity of any ticket that has not been purchased through the official sales channels indicated in the official event advertising carried out by THE ORGANIZER.
Any ticket that has been altered, torn, suspected of being counterfeit, or unlawfully acquired will entitle THE ORGANIZER to deny access to the holder.
Possession of a complete ticket in good condition entitles the holder solely to attend and watch the event to which it refers, provided that the holder complies with these conditions, the venue regulations, and any other special conditions that THE ORGANIZER may reasonably modify or add for reasons of safety or due to the nature of the event or venue. In such cases, these conditions will be communicated to the public through appropriate channels.
2. FORMALIZATION OF THE SALE
From the moment the user places an order to purchase one or more tickets, they shall be referred to as the “BUYER”, and shall be bound as such vis-à-vis THE ORGANIZER, which shall hold the status of seller. The purchase made online by the BUYER and received by THE ORGANIZER constitutes a binding contractual agreement.
The BUYER must correctly and fully complete the required information and undertakes not to enter third-party data. Receipt of the purchase order will be confirmed by THE ORGANIZER by email or other means without delay, and from that moment the sale shall be deemed completed and both parties shall be bound to comply with what has been agreed.
3. GENERAL CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE ONLINE SALE OF TICKETS THROUGH THIS SITE
The acquisition of the ticket(s) implies acceptance by the BUYER of the following General Conditions:
A) The ticket includes various security measures. However, the Organization does not guarantee its authenticity unless it has been purchased through one of the official points of sale. Any ticket that has been altered, torn, suspected of being counterfeit, or unlawfully acquired will authorize the Organization to deny access to the holder. In such cases, if access to the venue is denied, the Organization declines all responsibility. Possession of a complete ticket in good condition is a condition for admission. The ticket must be kept until leaving the venue.
B) The number of tickets, their price, and their location shall be selected by the BUYER during the purchase process and may not be modified once the purchase has been completed.
C) Ticket purchases made through THE ORGANIZER’S official website include a ticket printing service, which allows the BUYER to (i) print the ticket immediately upon completion of the purchase process (by downloading a PDF file), or (ii) save the file on their computer for later printing. In exceptional situations, for technical and/or security reasons, the ticket printing service may be disabled. In such cases, the BUYER must go to the box office of the venue where the event is held at least 1 hour before the event to collect the ticket(s). To collect the tickets, the BUYER must present at the box office:
The credit/debit card used to make the purchase.
The ID card/passport of the holder of said credit/debit card.
Proof of the purchase transaction (Purchase Confirmation) sent by email.
D) Once the ticket has been purchased, it will only be exchanged or refunded in the event of cancellation of the event. In such a case, the purchaser may request a refund within 15 days from the date of the public announcement of the cancellation, in the manner specified by THE ORGANIZER, and must in all cases present proof of purchase. In any case of refund, THE ORGANIZER will only refund the ticket price and shall not be responsible for any other expenses, such as, by way of example and without limitation, hotels, travel, meals, allowances, etc.
If the aforementioned period elapses without the BUYER requesting a refund of the amounts corresponding to the purchases made, this shall be deemed a waiver by the BUYER of any refund that may apply. Under no circumstances shall any refund be made beyond the established deadlines.
The BUYER’s inability to attend the event for reasons beyond THE ORGANIZER’S control and/or an error made during the purchase process shall not constitute valid grounds for requesting a refund of the ticket price.
E) THE ORGANIZER reserves the right to modify, if circumstances so require, the announced dates, times, or performers, as well as to decree the suspension of the event. Article 36.2 of Royal Decree-Law 11/2020 states:
“In cases where performance of the contract becomes impossible in accordance with the preceding paragraph, the trader shall be obliged to refund the amounts paid by the consumer or user, except for duly itemized expenses incurred and provided to the consumer, in the same manner in which payment was made, within a maximum period of 14 days, unless the consumer or user expressly accepts different conditions.”
4. CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO AND STAY AT THE EVENT VENUE
A) THE ORGANIZER always reserves the right of admission. The legal minimum age to access this type of event is 16 years. Any minor under this age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
B) For security reasons, attendees may be searched upon entry to the venue. Under no circumstances will entry be permitted with objects that may be considered dangerous or that are prohibited under the applicable public event safety regulations. The following actions are strictly prohibited and will therefore justify denial of access:
Bringing in alcoholic beverages, weapons, instruments that may be used as weapons, flares, fireworks, or similar objects.
Bringing in or displaying banners, symbols, emblems, or slogans that incite violence.
Being under the influence of alcoholic beverages, narcotics, psychotropic substances, or similar substances.
C) THE ORGANIZER may deny access to or expel the ticket holder from the venue in the event of non-compliance with these conditions or failure to follow instructions given by the organization’s staff or venue personnel.
Access may also be denied or expulsion carried out if it can reasonably be foreseen that the person’s presence at the venue could pose a risk or danger to themselves or to other attendees. In all cases, the ticket holder shall be personally responsible for their own actions and omissions when these cause injury to third parties or damage to property.
D) THE ORGANIZER reserves all image and intellectual property rights to the event. Photography, with or without flash, filming, or recording is prohibited. The ticket holder acknowledges that they may appear in images taken within the venue by various means for subsequent informational or promotional dissemination and authorizes such use.
If video surveillance exists at the access points, you are informed that your image will become part of a file for which the organizer is responsible, for the purposes of access control, event security, and resolution of any incidents. You have the right to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection regarding the processing of your data before the event organizer.
5. USE OF PURCHASED TICKETS
A) Tickets purchased on this website must be safeguarded until the day of the event as if they were cash. The BUYER of the ticket or the person in whose name the ticket is personalized assumes all responsibility in the event of duplication, photocopying, or counterfeiting of the ticket, thereby losing all rights it grants for access to the venue.
B) THE ORGANIZER is not responsible for any loss or theft of tickets, nor for any personal belongings.
C) The purchase of tickets does not grant the BUYER the right to use the ticket or its content for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes (including contests, giveaways, and/or raffles) without the express written consent of THE ORGANIZER. Breach of this prohibition shall entitle THE ORGANIZER to invalidate the ticket(s) and to initiate any legal actions it deems appropriate to claim damages arising from such conduct.
6. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY POLICY
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union, the personal data of BUYERS will be incorporated into an automated file for which the PROMOTER, with registered office at Carrer Aurora, 11 Bis, Barcelona, is responsible.
Such data will be incorporated into the file in order to manage and monitor the purchase process until the event for which the tickets were purchased has taken place. Only if the buyer has unchecked the box authorizing the processing of their data for commercial purposes (at the “payment” stage of the purchase process) will these data not be used for subsequent communications by THE ORGANIZER.
We remind you of your right to access, rectify, cancel, and object to the processing of your data by sending a written communication to Carrer Aurora, 11 Bis, 2nd Floor, 3rd Door, Barcelona 08001, or by email to hola@parallelfestival.com.
7. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
Spanish law shall apply to the sale of tickets carried out through this website.
For any dispute that may arise in connection with the performance of the sale, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
