Aiwa

AIWA, also known as Lajos Nádházi, creates live, improvisational music built from the repetition of dance music motifs, positioned somewhere at the boundary of experimental electronics and at the intersection of ambient-dub-bass music. With minimalist tools, he creates an elevated atmosphere; his compositions are driven by repetitive analog sequences and saturated drum machines.

He is affiliated with the Hungarian label Farbwechsel, and has also had several international releases on Banlieue Records, Always Human Tapes, videogamemusic, Seagrave, and Infinito Audio. He has performed at OHM in Berlin, Ankali in Prague, at an NTS Radio club night in London, and several other clubs around Europe.

Lajos is also active as a DJ, notably with his monthly AIWA Program series, and has been a resident at themed events over the past fifteen years, such as Nightdrive, Crisis, and Street Dreams. He is a member of the MA'IWA and Csicskakoporsó formations, and a regular guest at the Transcendent Waves ambient sessions.

His latest album, 'blossom, heritage' was released in November under the Farbwechsel catalog.
