Puntalaberinto
Puntalaberinto conceives sound as an organism in constant mutation, developing their work through modular synthesis, DIY/DIWO devices, field recordings, and sound design. The modular synthesizer acts as the core of their practice, a channel through which field recordings and other sonic material are filtered, transmuted, and emerge, shaping immersive soundscapes, organic textures, and dense drone currents.
Their live sets intertwine enveloping dub rhythms and percussion inspired by experimental electronics, with polyrhythmic patterns and abstract textures that integrate into a sonic fabric that folds and expands, creating a fissure in the conventional, a space where the multiplicity and subtlety of the soundscape is revealed.
They are part of Arquea Col·lectivo, where they explore expanded cinema formats, working at the intersection of sound creation, visual art, and biology. They are also co-founder of the immersive music festival ODD – One Drone Day, twelve uninterrupted hours of live drone and ambient music, in a single space with a quadraphonic sound system adapted for relaxed listening.
