WEATHER

Even if the festival takes place in summer, please take into account that it's located right in the middle of a ski resort. This means that days can get pretty hot and nights pretty chilly - and it has been pretty rainy and even stormy in the past.

Please come prepared to go through 4 seasons in a single day!

ACCESS

We love being in the middle of nature and surrounded by mountains, but it also has its challenges: be careful where you step and keep in mind that vehicles can suffer in uneven terrains.

Also take into account that there is some distance between the parking and the camping area as well as between the camping and the stage area.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

Our food trucks offer a wide gastronomic variety including vegetarian and vegan options to ensure you don't feel hungry at Paral·lel. We will publish this year's offer ahead of the festival.

Our bar will complement the food offer with fresh fruits to keep you fully hydrated during the hot hours of the day. In the morning we will also offer coffee and healthy juices. We will also sell water jugs at a reduced price to take with you to your tent.

You can also bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages to the camping area of the festival, but bear in mind that due to the risk of fire, glass containers are forbidden in all the premises.

No outside alcoholic drinks are allowed into the festival. Alcoholic drinks may only be purchased from our bar and are restricted to the stage area (no drinks allowed in the camping / glamping area).

PAYMENTS ON SITE

Payments at the bar and the food trucks will be done via our cashless system. You can choose to pay through the mobile wallet or directly with your festival wristband, both of which can be topped up either online (before and during the festival) or in person at our top-up stand, with credit card or cash.

FIRE

Fire is strictly prohibited (including camping gas). The festival takes place in the middle of forested land that is at high risk of fire.

To be prepared in case of fire, always know the location of action devices such as fire extinguisers and water backpacks.

COMMUNITY & RESPECT

Keep in mind that Paral·lel is a meeting place for all kind of people seeking a great experience of music and nature. We will not tolerate any violent or hateful behavior for any reason whatsoever. Failing to follow our communal standards will result in immediate expulsion from the festival premises. Respect one another and always treat others as you would like to be treated.

As part of this respect, refrain from using portable speakers or musical devices in any area (including camp and park areas), so that we can guarantee a good night rest for everyone.

EMERGENCIES

Our on-site medical team will be able to help you in case of health problems at any time. The closest pharmacies are located in Sant Llorenç de Morunys and Solsona.

Please remember to bring enough suncream with you to avoid getting sunburn.

SHOWERS

Showers with hot and cold water will be available in the camping area.

ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT & WASTE

We want to enjoy the nature without damaging it, so please help us keep the wonderful environment safe and clean by keeping in mind the following:

  • We will provide you with a rubbish bag upon arrival. Please use it to store your waste and deliver it in the available  containers before leaving (do not just leave it lying around in the camping area!)

  • Use the bins distributed all throughout the festival area.

  • If you smoke, make sure that your cigarette butts are properly and fully extinguised. We will provide you with portable ashtrays at the entrance that you should have with you at all times. When full, empty them in the garbage collection points dispersed throughout the festival.

  • We will ask you for a 1€ fee for each plastic glass and encourage you to keep your glass throughout the festival, in order to reduce the plastic waste. Therefore, the fee is non-refundable.

  • To preserve the cleanliness of the area and everyone's safety, glass is not allowed in the festival premises.
